InshaAllah we'll be posting MYGD's programs for Ramadan soon!  They'll include the usual Qiyaams every Friday, and our free Iftar on Thursday, August 26th at IAGD!

Help Needed for IAGD Family Fair! - Wednesday, July 21, 2010

MYGD will be running the kiddy carnival at IAGD's annual Family Fair this Saturday!  If you would like to volunteer, please email frasulc@gmail.com.  Even if you can only help out for an hour, your help is really appreciated!

Here are the results for the MYGD Elections!  InshaAllah this is the MYGD Board, 2010-2011!

The Education Chairs are responsible for all activities that are designed to instill greater Islamic knowledge in the Muslims of our community, both adult and youth.  These include weekly halaqas, Qiyaams, seminars, and dinners.

The Community Affairs Chairs put together events which are social and activist-centered, from Kidz Nite on Halloween, to annual basketball tournaments, to a free Ramadan Iftar.

Public Relations deals with all publicity related to MYGD and MYGD-sponsored events, as well as any secretarial duties.

The Communications Chairs are responsible for both Expressions, the magazine written for and by the youth, and MYGD's website, www.MYGD.org.

MYGD is a non-profit organization created for the youth, by the youth. Our mission is to please Allah by serving the Muslim youth and helping them strengthen their faith. Our goal is to create an environment where youth can come together and establish ties with not only each other at IAGD, but a connection to the Ummah as a whole.
