Summer Cookout

Assalamu Alaikum, dear brothers and sisters in Southeast Michigan! We, at the Muslim Youth of Greater Detroit (MYGD), are excited to invite you to our MYGD Cookout event on Saturday, July 22nd, from 2 PM to 4 PM.

This isn’t just a cookout; it’s an opportunity to showcase your culinary skills, creativity, and teamwork in a friendly competition. The event will be held at the Islamic Association of Greater Detroit (IAGD), welcoming all who wish to participate.

Teams of 3-4 will compete to make the best burgers for a panel of judges. All ingredients and supplies will be provided. Teams will be judged on creativity, look, and taste of their burgers.

Whether you’re a seasoned cook or a beginner, this event is a wonderful way to engage in a fun and interactive activity within an Islamic context. We aim to create a supportive and vibrant atmosphere for everyone.
